Bryan was very influential in the design of this unique church building
located in Coconut Grove. Bryan sold his estate's highway frontage as
the site for the church and served on the building committee. The octagonal
building includes excellent examples of Byzantine detailing adapted to
the Florida climate. The church is also a rare early example of an accessible
religious building, as the ground level entrances provided access for
Bryan's wife, who was confined to a wheelchair. This building now houses
the Chabad of South Dade.
